SYMPTOMS
Lookout and Chrome, which are Outlook add-ins, may fail to operate correctly when NewsGator is installed. You may see the following errors from Chrome/Lookout:
"Fatal error while indexing. Indexing stopped"
or
"Halted: COM object that has been separated from its underlying RCW can not be used."
CAUSE
This has been confirmed to be a problem with the versions of NewsGator listed above, when used with Lookout/Chrome.
RESOLUTION
This problem was first fixed in NewsGator 2.0, service release 2.0.3.1, which is available from http://www.newsgator.com/downloads.aspx.
